The Epson EcoTank L3350 is a compact A4 ink tank printer that prints, scans and copies in colour. Refillable tanks are integrated into its chassis, and Epson’s keyed bottle system is designed for straightforward refilling. The flatbed scanner, Wi-Fi and mobile controls make it suitable for everyday home or small-office documents.

Print performance

Epson quotes ISO A4 simplex speeds of up to 11 images per minute in black and 6 in colour. Faster draft-mode figures are up to 33 black and 20 colour pages per minute; the two measurement methods should not be confused. Maximum print resolution is 5,760 × 1,440 dpi. Borderless photo output is supported up to 4R size rather than across a full A4 sheet.

Scanning and copying

The built-in colour flatbed scanner uses a CIS sensor with an optical resolution of 1,200 × 2,400 dpi. It can scan documents up to 216 × 297 mm, matching the A4 document class. This model does not include an automatic document feeder.

Ink and paper

The four-colour EcoTank system uses refillable black, cyan, magenta and yellow tanks instead of disposable cartridges. Epson lists replacement bottle yields of up to 4,700 black pages and 7,500 composite colour pages under its stated test method. Automatic two-sided printing is not provided; sheets need to be turned manually for a two-sided job.

Wireless and mobile use

The L3350 supports Wi-Fi for network printing and Wi-Fi Direct for a direct device connection without a router. Epson Smart Panel allows supported phones and tablets to set up the printer, manage Wi-Fi, print, copy and scan. Epson Connect services add mobile print options including iPrint and Email Print. Epson’s Heat-Free ink ejection technology is used in the printer’s output system.
