The Develop ineo+ 257i is a colour A3 multifunction system for printing, copying and scanning. DEVELOP rates colour and black-and-white A4 output at up to 25 pages per minute. The standard machine combines a seven-inch touch display, network connectivity and automatic duplex printing with optional document-handling accessories.

Output and image quality

The print specification includes 1,200 × 1,200 dpi and enhanced 1,800-equivalent × 600 dpi modes. A3 colour output makes the system suitable for larger office documents, while the bypass can also handle supported banner stock up to 1,200 × 297 mm. The copier and colour scanner are separate functions within the same device; paper handling and image resolution differ by task.

Paper and finishing

Standard input is 1,100 sheets across two 500-sheet cassettes and a 100-sheet bypass. Optional paper drawers can increase the total to 3,600 sheets. Automatic duplex output supports A5-to-A3 media within the specified paper-weight range. Compatible finishing modules can provide stapling, punching, folding and booklets when the required optional hardware is fitted.

Scanning and control

The optional reversing automatic document feeder can handle up to 130 originals. Because the ADF is optional, its presence should be confirmed on the individual device. A seven-inch colour touch panel presents copy, scan and print controls. DEVELOP lists colour scan destinations and workflows for an office network, with supported output formats depending on selected settings.

System and connections

The ineo+ 257i has 6 GB of standard system memory and a 256 GB solid-state drive. Built-in interfaces include Gigabit Ethernet and USB 2.0; Wi-Fi requires an optional module. Mobile print support includes AirPrint and Mopria in the manufacturer specification. DEVELOP also offers optional fax and finishing hardware for installations that need those functions.
