The Ricoh Aficio SP 5210SR is an A4 monochrome multifunction copier rated at up to 52 Letter pages per minute. It combines print, copy and colour scanning with an integrated finisher. The built-in finishing unit distinguishes this model from a standard desktop printer when stapled office documents are needed.

Print and finish

Ricoh specifies print resolution up to 1,200 × 600 dpi for black-and-white output. The internal finisher can staple and organise compatible document sets without a separate external finisher. Automatic duplex printing supports two-sided work. The 52 ppm figure refers to the Letter-size engine rating; paper up to Legal size can be used through the stated paper paths.

Paper supply

A 550-sheet cassette and a 100-sheet bypass form the standard 650-sheet input. Optional paper units can raise capacity to 2,300 sheets. The bypass provides another feed for supported stock and sizes, while the standard cassette carries routine office paper. The output finisher handles completed sheets after printing and is separate from the feeder for scanning originals.

Scanning

A 50-sheet automatic reversing feeder accepts multi-page originals for copying and scanning. Ricoh lists colour document capture although the output engine prints in monochrome. Scanned files can be delivered to email or network folders, depending on configuration. This allows a colour paper original to be archived or shared digitally without using a separate scanner.

Network and fax option

The device supports Ethernet network printing and scanning for shared use. Fax is offered through an optional kit and is not treated as a standard installed function. Additional paper accessories change the maximum input, whereas the integrated finisher is part of this SR model’s output design. These distinctions matter when comparing the machine with other members of the SP 5210 family.
