The Kyocera TASKalfa 306ci is an A4 colour multifunction printer with copying, printing and scanning. The manufacturer rates it at 30 A4 pages per minute in both colour and monochrome. Its published specification also distinguishes the standard paper supply and document feeder from optional storage, paper feeders and fax equipment.

• Functions. Copy, print and scan are the main functions; the fax function requires optional equipment.
• A4 speed. Both monochrome and colour A4 output are rated at up to 30 pages per minute.
• Paper size. The cassette and multipurpose tray support paper through A4 or Legal size, rather than A3.
• Standard input. A 500-sheet cassette and 100-sheet multipurpose tray give 600 sheets of standard input.

• First print. The manufacturer's first-print times are 7.0 seconds monochrome and 8.0 seconds colour.
• Connections. Standard connections include Gigabit Ethernet, high-speed USB 2.0 and USB host ports.
• Mobile print. Kyocera lists AirPrint, Mopria and KYOCERA Mobile Print as mobile printing methods.
• Scan routes. Colour scans can be directed to email, SMB folders, FTP or USB; TWAIN and WSD scanning are also listed.
