Ricoh Aficio MP C3502 overview

The Ricoh Aficio MP C3502 is an A3 colour multifunction copier for printing, copying and scanning. Ricoh rates both its colour and monochrome output at up to 35 Letter pages per minute. The machine combines duplex output, network printing and a document feeder for everyday office originals.

Print and colour output

The print engine supports up to 1,200 × 1,200 dpi, while the copier’s imaging resolution is specified separately. The 35 ppm figure applies to Letter-size sheets; A3 output uses a larger media path. Full-colour printing and black-and-white output share the rated speed on this exact model. Automatic duplex printing handles supported two-sided documents.

Paper supply

The standard input is 1,200 sheets, including the main cassettes and bypass feed. Ricoh lists a maximum of 4,400 sheets when compatible optional paper units are installed. A3 support covers larger reports and diagrams as well as ordinary Letter or A4 pages. Bypass feeding provides a second route for the supported media specified in the brochure.

Scanning and feeder

The 50-sheet automatic reversing feeder takes multi-page originals into copy and scan tasks. The colour scanner turns paper originals into electronic files for supported network destinations. Ricoh provides colour scanning even when an original will later be printed in black and white. Depending on the chosen scan settings, files can be delivered to email or a network folder. Feeder capacity refers to originals, not to the paper supply for printing.

Network and options

Ethernet networking lets the copier serve an office workgroup. The manufacturer lists optional fax equipment, so analogue fax should be confirmed on the individual unit rather than assumed. Additional paper and finishing accessories are likewise configuration choices. The touch control panel brings colour copy, scan and print settings together on the machine.
